  • Research Fellowship

    In addition to the above fellowship programs, one can also acquire Junior and Senior Research fellowships in the industries like Bhabha Atomic Research Centre with advanced technology and better stipends.

  • GATE Scholarship

    A qualified GATE score is crucial for the scholarship. The scholarship will be given to the eligible applicants of grant ₹12,400 per month for the complete course. As far as the duration is concerned, MTech students' duration is for 2 years. The scholarship is extended for Ph.D. students, and the grant is ₹25,000.

2. Eligibility Criteria to Get Admission at Foreign Universities

To get admission at foreign universities, the candidate must meet the following criteria

  • The candidate must have cleared the GATE and scored a minimum of 90 percentile
  • The candidate must have appeared either in IELTS or in TOEFL and secured top scores to determine the language proficiency.
  • Among these criteria mentioned, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in B.E/B.Tech in a relevant discipline with the minimum percent, mentioned by the accredited university.

3. International Universities that Accept GATE score

3.1 National University of Singapore

The National University of Singapore is one of the eminent academic institutions in the world. It is essential to have a degree certificate and an official transcript of your academic records. Candidates can request the transcript from the relevant universities. You need to submit the consolidated mark sheet till 7th semester before the due date.

3.2 Nanyang Technological University Singapore

NTU is one of the eminent national research universities in Singapore and the second-oldest autonomous university in the country. To pursue higher degrees like ME and Ph.D. programs, the candidate’s application will be collected in August and January. NTU tuition fees range from SGD 10,000-17,220/year (₹5-8.5 lakh).

  • Eligibility

The candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and have the ability to pursue research in advanced study. They must have secured the GATE score at a minimum of 90%.

3.3 Technology University of Munich

The Technology University of Munich is one of the best German institutions that accept GATE scores. The university is specialized in Engineering, Technology, Medicine, and Natural Science. TU tuition fee is €500/semester (₹38,000).

  • Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. The one who has secured a qualified GATE score can apply on the official website.

  • Minimum GATE score

Candidates aspiring to get admission in TU Munich should have gained the minimum GATE score of 90%.

3.4 RWTH Aachen

RWTH is the largest technical university in Germany and is one of the few institutes that accept GATE scores. Candidates having bachelor’s degree with a qualified GATE score can apply to this institute. The university has set the tuition fee of €240/semester (₹18,000).
